Testimonials
What our customers are saying
Brendan, Google See testimonial on Google Business ProfileAmazing experience!
I booked my A5 in to be looked at after Audi Centre Fortitude Valley said I needed new brakes all around and 7k worth of repairs. From the beginning, the experience was fantastic. From booking and being offered a loan car to arriving and being offered a coffee, it really is the small things that lead to an amazing experience.
Turned out nothing Audi had found was correct and I was shown video proof. All the car needed was some new front brakes. Cannot highly recommend these guys enough!
Cheryll, Google See more testimonials on Google Business ProfileEfficient, thorough and I left feeling I understood the problem. The token to get a fabulous coffee from the barista outside. Can not recommend Accelerate Automotive highly enough. As a woman who knows nothing about motors and cars, the Technicians took the time to explain it, so I understood it.
Clare, Google See more testimonials on Google Business Profile10 ✨Great customer service, loved the video integration from the workshop to show you what needs to be done great personal touch. Ben found a creative and economical solution for the tyres. Love the car diffuser touch.

FAQ
Electric Vehicle and hybrid Servicing and battery testing FAQ
-
Do electric and Hybrid vehicles still need regular servicing?
Yes. EVs don’t require oil changes, spark plugs, fuel filters, or exhaust system repairs, but the other components still require regular inspection and maintenance. An EV service typically includes diagnostic system checks, battery health monitoring, brake inspection, tyre condition checks, suspension inspection, cooling system checks, and software updates.
Hybrid vehicles have a petrol engine and an electric system which both require servicing. A hybrid service usually includes engine oil and filter replacement, brake system inspection, battery health diagnostics, cooling system checks, and hybrid system diagnostics to ensure both the petrol engine and electric systems are operating correctly.
-
Why is EV battery testing important?
The high-voltage battery is the most valuable component in an electric vehicle. Battery testing provides insight into its current health, capacity and performance, helping identify degradation or faults before they become more serious.
-
Can EV batteries degrade over time?
All lithium-ion batteries slowly lose capacity over time due to charging cycles, heat and age. Professional battery testing helps track this degradation and identify whether performance remains within expected limits.
-
How long does EV battery testing take?
Battery testing usually takes between one and two hours depending on the vehicle and the diagnostics required. If deeper investigation is needed, we’ll always let you know beforehand.
-
How often should an EV battery be checked?
EV batteries don’t require regular servicing like petrol engines, but it’s a good idea to have the battery checked every 12–24 months, especially once the vehicle is outside its factory warranty or if you notice changes in range or charging behaviour.
